About Allen
A four-time #1 Amazon best-selling author, Allen collaborated with Matthew Kelly to write the wildly popular book, No Regrets: A Fable about Living Your Fourth Quarter Intentionally. In that fable, they shared the ground-breaking idea of the Fourth Quarter.
The average American lives about 80 years. That means, when you turn 60, you are entering your final 20 years, the Fourth Quarter of your life.
In No Regrets, Allen and Matthew share a powerful secret: the 5 Keys to Living and Dying with No Regrets.
Those 5 keys led them to then create The Fourth Quarter of Your Life: Embracing What Matters Most to help people do just that: Discover and plan how to intentionally live their fourth quarters with confidence, boldness, and passion.
The fourth quarter has become the passion of Allen’s own life work. So much so that he has become known as the Fourth Quarter Guy.
You can experience his life-changing discoveries and coaching for yourself: here on the site, on his YouTube channel, in his writings, through one on one personal coaching, and at his speaking events.
Clients and audiences consistently describe their interactions with Allen as overflowing with encouragement and hope. Indeed, his favorite saying, learned decades ago from a friend, declares: "I love you and there's nothing you can do about it"
Allen was educated at Mercer and Emory Universities, before earning a Ph.D from Yale University.
He enjoys hiking, literature, spirituality, history, and good food. He and his wife, Anita, live in Georgia. They have two daughters, SarahAnn and Griffin Elizabeth, two sons-in-law, and seven grandchildren.
